Featuring a full-length outsole plate combined with a stiffer midsole foam, the Javelin Elite 3 provides optimal energy transfer upon foot blocking. To increase traction on all types of track surfaces, this spike also contains a full rubber outsole with traditional spike receptacles. Additionally, by using a slightly negative heel-to-toe drop designers were able to increase the stability of your front breaking foot when it plants.

The upper is a high-top for ankle support and foot stability, but the heel area is cut low for a more comfortable foot transition when your blocking foot is far in front of your body and your foot is plantar-flexed. With its robust lacing system and dual midfoot straps, this spike does an incredible job preventing your foot from sliding. Finished off with a damping foam in the cap of the shoe, the Javelin Elite 3 protects your toes when your lead foot plants and transfers all the force upward into your body.
