The ASICS Mat Control 2 is built upon the previous model of the Mat Control and includes all of the features that were loved in the previous shoe, with some new updates, as well. Improving upon the already impressive hybrid sole present on the original Mat Control, the Mat Control 2 has one of the grippiest and flexible soles present on the ASICS wrestling line. It???s the perfect sole for controlling the center of the wrestling mat, driving into your penetration shot, or finding traction in those tricky scramble situations. The Mat Control 2 is also extremely light and breathable which allows for the wearer (being you) to be quick and responsive with dry feet for the entirety of the match or practice. The Mat Control 2 is the perfect practice or match shoe with the durable sole, and suede midsole that allows it to easily survive any battle you put it through. ASICS has kept comfortability and breathability in mind when crafting the upper of the Mat Control 2, creating a tall boot-cut shoe that allows for maximum ankle support and a tight sock-like fit. Large mesh panels on the sides allow for dry feet and even more added comfort. To close out the Mat Control 2 has a very effective lacing garage system that allows for the wearer to quickly and neatly tuck away laces and avoid any tripping, break-in action, or annoying lace taping disasters.
